We focus on providing tailor made data centre solutions rather than a "one size fits all" approach. Our philosophy is to design our services so they don't break as we know our customers rely on us and we in turn hate it when things go wrong. In the ethos of doing a few things well we concentrate our efforts on four key and closely related areas of competency:
Colocation space
We either provide managed colocation space on its own or more often than not with some form of Internet connection. Customers range from 1U up to several cabinets and from large international carriers through to small ASP or VoIP operators amongst others. We have extensive experience of the data centre industry going back to 1999 and as a result our colocation customers avoid many of the typical installation problems that can arise and have the benefit of our ongoing support. Our industry knowledge also allows us to offer a unique set of products and solutions such as diverse facilities using Telehouse and Bracknell.
Dedicated servers
We have operated a range of dedicated servers for a diverse range of customers including international financial trading companies through to small web development teams. At present we are focussing on the Dell platforms where we have found a happy medium between quality and pricing. Our own experience in providing fully managed hosting solutions gives us a deep range of hands-on practical experience from which to draw and provide a consultancy service in the design and implementation stage. We are familiar with both open source and Windows operating systems.
Fully managed hosting solutions
Crosspoint provides fully managed hosting solutions for clients ranging from small ecommerce platforms to organisations delivering coverage on huge global sporting events. Our track record includes Euro2004, the Olympics2004 and the 2007FIFA World Cup for customers such as Reuters and Yahoo! and our platform copes seamlessly with the huge spikes and troughs in demand these events drive. This is an ultimate testing ground for our hosting solutions and as a result even our smaller customers benefit from the approach this demanding environment has demanded. Furthermore our use of open source software and multiple upstream network suppliers means we have a highly competitive and realistic appoach to costs.

We have provided multiple locations under a single contract to a customer wishing to distribute multiple GSM gateways
We recently installed a dual data centre solutions linking both Telehouse Docklands and Bracknell
We run a dedicated multihomed IP platform for one customer tired of dealing with network providers and needing improved reliability
Team
As a small team the Crosspoint approach is personable and accountable. We work closely with our customers and are always on hand to grow and support their businesses, an approach that allows our customers to often develop from small start-ups to larger, established companies. This is not to say we don't work with large organisations; see our customer list. We understand the issues of small businesses first hand and our own entrepreneurial mindset is often seen as an effective and vital outsourced IT department for many of our clients.
